This is my polishing kit. After every stage I polish the model with these micro sand papers. After the primer coat I polish with 2400 grit till 3200 grit. As soon as I finish my paint work to the required colour I polish the kit by 3200 till 3600 grit. The last stage then would be the lacquer where I use the 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000.

Great looking car, what a brilliant finish! By the way, what were the kit wheels like? Why did you replace them?

revell wheels are hopeless scale wise. on the otherhand, i want to be an original 458 italia

Just my opinion, the car is brilliant but i still don;t like the wheels. I think that they spoil the look of the finished car.
