Mela, capitulating on Euromilitaire 2013 again ... as usual they can boast to have one of the best valued expo around with worldwide names competing from USA to EU to Asia to Australia ... not to mention the most arguable competition but that is Euro, what I have to say we as a group went up there with no big pretentions this year, we just wanted to experience and enjoy the show and the results spoke millions spending long hours judging was no joke, as a Maltese group one thing I have to say ... when comparing BIG names getting nothing and we as a small nations with limited man power and above all working projects in let's face it made in a short span, yes I have to say we make NOISE ... so guys let's keep the track record healthy ... where possible we try to work a bit more and yes we will do it ... again!
As for the Best of Show, I feel it was a great piece and I was happy to have voted for it on all fronts ... maybe the composition is nothing unusual as the idea has been done more then once ... but the quality of sculpting, composition, scale and painting was immaculate ... nothing was near it on the table ... above all it was made by a humble Spanish duo which in less then 4 years these guys have been always runners up and when this for the 2nd time ... art at it's best, I include these guys in my goodbooks in the likes of Marijn van Gils, humble artists with balls!
The special award went to excellent downed FW dio with the pilot being attacked by wolves ... it got a silver [very unjustified] yet managed to get the Special Memorial Award dedicated to aviation subject. This is the same Spanish guy who has been producing those great aviation dios lately ... was a Spanish year this Euro ...
Come on guys let's keep the motto born to glue and paint! ... Taqtax qalbek XXX

I would suggest that (if possible) we do a review of your achievement and post it on facebook and other social medias. Unfortunately, till this date I cannot have a look at work. Moreover, your achievement should be reported on our national news if this is possible.
