LRDG Chevrolet 30CWT with Breda

This is Tamiyas LRDG Chevy with Breda...

Will be using a resicat resin update which includes wheels and an Eduard PE set...

Chassis went together well...The wheels and front bumper were obious improvements thanks to the resin and PE...





The Tamiya bumper and vinyl wheels that were replaced...




Next up the cabin and truck bed.

Which scheme you are planning Mat? Did you consider resicast resin updtaes so far those are the best and accurate ones ... this is one of my wish list project someday ...

I had nearly started to build this last year and it's still on my mind!!!

Look forward to see what you're going to do with this one.

There's a missing rivet on the truck bed bulk head ftting I will be adding shortly...

Unfortunately the lovely Armorscale cans dont fit the Eduard etched holders as it seems Eduard based the holders on the Tamiya plastic parts so I guess I have to scratch sme plastic ones or bite te bullet and build some etched holders from scratch...

Detailed truck bed and cab up shortly...

The Breda 20mm cannon will be placed in the rear bed...
Still undecided whether to keep the rear bed door down or up...
Spare tire is blu tacked on only for now...
Next up the driver cab and the Breda 20mm ...

Looking really good Doc, i love that mess with all the stuff, should be a blast to paint.

Scratched the holders for the oil cans or flimsies as they were called, using plastic card and spare etched workable hinges...the flimsies are from Armorscale....

Guess cousin Alex will be proud of me now huh

Thats EXACTLY the scheme I had in mind...

Kugin Alex says the shade is too blue though if i understood him correctly....should be slate grey....
