Private 21st North Royal Fusiliers 1777

This is a 75mm Michel Roberts' kit sculpted by Mike Stelzel (owner of the company) of a Private of the North Royal Fusiliers 1777 & which Steve will kindly carry for me this May to be auctioned for the APG cause (Artists Preservation Group) to raise funds for the preservation of American Historical Artifacts & Museums.

Rocky uphill terrain is cork bark

The first pic is courtesy of Michael Roberts' website which I saved & pasted here I'm sure Mike won't mind at all but its ethical to give credit when it is due

Due to the imminent departure of this dude, he's just literally RAN thru ALL the Painting Que Opposition (forgive the PUN it is UNINTENTIONAL HONESTLY ) & placed himself at the FRONT

Wow Ray, what a production line, really nice looking guy, no wonder he beat the other two in the queue. This is more up your street. If you don;t mind my asking where can i get some of that greenery you used on the base, it looks totally real, tiny florets and all, awesome addition to the base.

Bri, that is normal static grass, applied over an area of PVA glue & pressed a bit to look plush & not sparse.....the tiny florets you see is "debris" collected from beneath the pavements or rubble walls after rainfalls & sieved thru a tea strainer over the "grassed" area while it was all wet

Now that really explains how pics can be MISLEADING SOMETIMES

@ Doc Roe....yes he'll be the 1st inline as he must go to the USA with Steve

Aprill 11th 2012 as can be WITNESSED here https://ipmsmalta.forumotion.net/t1316p15-marin-mardoomed-mariner was MY LAST PAINT SPLASHING, so that makes it, give & take a few days, ONE WHOLE YEAR W/O TOUCHING A BRUSH

Will post the finished face in the coming days hopefully
