My new project.... the Dragon Ferdinand....... one of the best Ferdinands on the market when this kit came out.

To save money on metal tracks I am converting the kits' single links into workable track links!!

    First I drill a hole:

    ...and insert a pin..

Awesome, I would have tried that, but the tracks I'm using are too small to handle.

Bravissimu Noel, you're showing one & all that modelling is MODELLING as well, not JUST buying after market RESIN & PE Sad

As Brian wisely stated (he's been there quite often & ALWAYS emerged with FLYING COLOURS IMHO) NO ONE would notice the difference once painted and finished cheers

Well..... at a price of about Euro 30 for metal tracks, I prefer to have workable plastic tracks! ......... I also need a metal barrel... decals..... and the cost rises!

Did U only drill the outer ends of the tracks or all the way through the middle links too?

    Thank you all!

Now I re-did the fender flap. I sliced it and scratch build the hinges.  I think it looks better.

Before I proceed to painting, I am placing the figures and arranging a "sit" with the help of putty. At the moment they are displayed just to see what it would look like.

They seem Okish even though headless as they are, it is virtually impossible for the viewer to identify what is going on between them  Shocked Suspect
