Just received a text message from Stephen who is in Chicago as he does not have access to the net

He got a Gold in the Painters Division (Commercial Kits)

He got a Gold in the Open Division (Conversion/Scratch Builds)

And quite surprisingly (I'm quoting him) he got a Bronze in the Ordnance Division (AFAIK it is the AFV Division ) so I guess we need some more explanation re this one

All in All that is SOME Achievement my SSM brothers so 3 CHEERS for HIM for holding SSM's Flag Up There Where It Belongs

I just found out, to my amazement that the bronze I got in Chicago with the 1857 napoleon cannon is actually a silver !!!! If it was a figure it wouldn't have mattered much but with this being my first armour piece I'm quite chuffed !!

Well, as I said it WAS a great achievement with the bronze, but to get a silver it IS even a GREATER ACHIEVEMENT

Steve......... Silver is more of a lighter colour than bronze...... bronze is more like yellow..... next time I will lend you my bronze medal so you can compare colours and not make the mistake again!! Very Happy
