Not much of a choice in color scheme really, most were in PRU blue or late PRU Blue + medium Sea Grey and I will probably build the 3rd one in the scheme.
Ray, Brian, Marco and Noel, Thanks for the comments

Re: 2 Spitfire PR.XIX
Ok, so again & if you may satisfy my curiosity please or else I am missing something here & I'm not aware what was the reason of applying the same colour to two same birds & contemplating of finishing a 3rd one in the same scheme? What I mean is this.....when I used to build aircraft & I built 2 & 3 same birds together, I finished them all differentlyJ.Fenech wrote:yes you are seeing right, they are both PR.XIXRay wrote:So they are the same mark as well from what I see?J.Fenech wrote:Not much of a choice in color scheme really, most were in PRU blue or late PRU Blue + medium Sea Grey and I will probably build the 3rd one in the scheme.Ray wrote:Extremely beautiful JF, but may I ask why 2 same birds in the same colour scheme

A couple of very neat looking Camera platforms....
I'f Im not mistaken, one of them was flown by the legendary Flight Officer Marco Borg of No 109 PR Squadron - "The Pulizers"

Re: 2 Spitfire PR.XIX
Ray, Brian, Marco, Noel and Wayne thanks!
Ray, as I already mentioned both are PRU Blue mkXIX, the only difference are the markings and time, one is from 1945 and the other post 1950. Still contemplating on the 3rd one but it will built as the 'last one' as per Airfix decals (medium sea grey/pru blue). About 3 builds at a time, it was not my intention to build more then one but they are so nice and easy that I build a 2nd one!
