Just for the record... I wanted a worn out look for this Gloster. Malta conditions were not kind to our Salvaturi!!!

There were Glosters with two bladed props in the fight. The No: 5519 (mini!) was fitted with a blenheim and therefore a three bladed prop.iCocker wrote:You did not manage to get hold of three blade prop mate ... Coming out great mate ...
I just want a collection of Battle of Malta planes but I'm not looking for 100% accuracy otherwise I'd go down the road of time consuming building and expense.

I apologise for throwing some spanners in the works but for accuracy sake, N5519 was not fitted with a Blenheim engine and the 3 bladed prop commonly seen in N5519 photos, is a fairey reed fixed pitch propeller.
Apparently, only one gladiator was fitted with a Blenheim engine and swordfish parts + 6 guns, possibly the one referred to as Bleriator but it never saw action as it was destroyed on the ground, though variable pitch props were fitted to the Gladiators.
