Kit contains less than 20 parts, it's just that one sprue! The building instructions and painting guide fit on the back of the box
Being Tamiya the fit is pretty good. All it needs is some filling around the wing roots and it's ready for priming

Would e nice in a small diorama with some American soldiers inspecting it. There are quite a number of photos to go on. Many captured examples.

Thanks Sykhigh.
This is actually an american produced copy of the V-1... see the caption. I never knew they built copies.
I like the idea of a diorama with american soldiers inspecting it but I was also toying with the idea of displaying it with my Arado 234. I believe that there was a project for actually launching V-1s from the back of Ar 234s. It can still be portrayed as a captured scenario, albeit a more complex one.
Depends on what figures are available in 1:48 I guess.... I have no idea what's out there.

Re: Fieseler Fi 103 V-1 Flying Bomb
What a cool little model, simple, but very nice! I didn't know that we made copies, but I didn't know we launched a number of them in tests in the Southwest, thought they just brought them from Germany like we did with the V2's. Maybe some of them had an interesting paint scheme that would be unusual?
