Gator/Com Model show in Louisiana USA

I went to the Gator/Con Model show in Louisiana today. Came out of it with a first place for a Rommel figure and a 2nd place for a P-38.

What kind of expo is this, is it organised by a local club or what. There was a very good number of models on display and what type of rules for judging are used? Sorry for all these questions but its intresting for me to know!!!!

This was a local show. The regionals will bring in about 800 to 1000 models for judging! The judging is based on the IPMS USA judging rules for the shows I attend.
