Re: Uparmoured Sherman
Are you sure they are not box art? They sure look like that. If not, they are simply amazing.

And now, a tree
Thanks for your replies. I'm glad you liked the figures.
By the way, this is a tree I have made for the base.

Re: Uparmoured Sherman
Do not tell me you ended gluing leaves one by one !?!!! What did you use white glue?
The detail is like seeing a miniature bonsai ... awesome mate, I have seen what you have done on the twigs used to camo your PanzerIV but this is far another job!
Inspiring!

Yes, I tell you
Yes, they were glued with white glue, one by one, a fantastic exercise for emptying oneself's mind. You end with plain encephalogram after each session.

Re: Uparmoured Sherman
I did that for the tree i put near my Bf109 and they were the same type of leaves but i did not have half as many, not even a quarter...... Thing is, congratulations for still being sane after an exercise like that and it looks really great.

Re: Uparmoured Sherman
Very nice realistic tree!!
Unfortunatly the only way to glue leaves is one-by-one.......... when will they invent a tree that grows it's own leaves!
Regards

Re: Uparmoured Sherman
Great job on the Sherman, it looks so realistic as do the figures. That tree is unbelievable! I have loved model railroading my whole life and they do lots of trees, but I have never seen one so realistic before. Took quite a while before my jaw came off the ground.

Re: Uparmoured Sherman
Awesome and Inspiring work!!!!!!!
To have 12 figures in a single dio is breathtaking IMHO but to have 12 masterfully painted/composed figures in a single dio is just out of this world again IMHO

totally agree with you but might i add its not the quantity or to a lesser extent the quality it is much more the context in which they are placed. combine quality, quantity and context and you will end up with this
A MASTERPEICE

Many Thanks!
I really appreciate your comments
About the figures... err, there are 14 They are OK, but there is still a long way to go. My "problem" is that I have here in Spain meny friends that are so good figure painters... (I am too envious )
About next projects, I have two things ready for painting, a 1/48 Tamiya Panther and a 1/35 GWH "sWS Uhu". I think the Panther will be next.
Once more, many thanks!

Re: Uparmoured Sherman
Hola amigo!
Already look promising, yet I have not been birtten by 1/48 bug but they really look tempting!
The UHU looks quite a trouble free model, ala Tamiya ... was it a troublefree built? An interesting vehicle for weathering, apart quite big aswell! Looking forward for the finished items!
