Re: Maltese matilda
... HA NIBDEW JAQTA QALBU!
That is the one, but from a recent image on IWM on the back these tanks had some other markings, one of them a bisected 8 pointed cross on a dark field.
So who is in for a group built ... we can call it the Maltese Walzing Matilda

Group build
Let's do a group build but we open it up to Maltese Subject so everyone can participate with a tank, figure or plane.
What does everyone think

Re: Maltese matilda
Tancred nice idea, Noel ibda faddal!!!! Adrian in Mlata we had tanks and AFV during WW2 and also some post war. The list are Vickers, Brens, Matildas, Valentines and A13 ... and finally almost all are going to be available in 1/35!!!!!! Apart we had an endemic camoflage - the rubble wall scheme, made in Malta!

Re: Maltese matilda
That is cool Adrian
As I guess you are an aircraft guy why not you try the new 1/48 Austin Tilly [utility truck like the one at TaQali Museum] by Tamiya, it can still be made in the rubblewall camo and for Malta, and maybe you can place it near a 1/48 plane diorama in the future. This Austin is pretty sweet and parts go together just by shaking the box! By the way AFV are no different than any other model, only that probably they have more parts than many and items like tracks and wheels are enough to get you insane ... then the art of AFV is the weathering ...

Yepp aircraft fanatic! that 1/48 Austin Tilly looks cute. but i do not know the construcion process of tanks and trucks. i only know planes.. that would be nice... letting loose with weathering

Oh! Didn't know that! I'll check on it...Thanks!
Tancred.... if we get a large box we will surly pass through customs and will have to pay duty and VAT.
If we bring them individually, it will arrive to your door step! What do you think?
Regards
Noel
