    FOCKE WULF FW190 F-8 Empty FOCKE WULF FW190 F-8

This is Revell's 1:72nd scale Focke Wulf Fw190 A-8/F-8 suitably modified to particular F-8 version. It is the first of 12 models in my programme and has an unusual scheme of 02 over the standard 74 or 82 /75 scheme.

The model is basically accurate except for the nose cowl which has a slightly smaller opening - but I can live with it. The canopy is not moulded whole and you only get the transparent part, but ...

    More to follow, eventually

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I am trying to find unusual camo schemes instead of the usual greys everyone does. In 1:72, it must be something interesting otherwise it will invariably lose out to the larger scales.

Eleven more to go for the dozen planned!

Very unusual and attractive scheme. That is one cool butcher bird.

Got a few stranger schemes coming up - hope to finish them by end of summer.

All 12 of them?! Keep it up Aldo! And swing by the club with a few of them so we can see it live!
