colour...
I'm not an expert on the subject but I guess it was in sand in AFghanistan and Gulf 2 as well ?
Nice clean build Tancred! LOvely kit it seems with PE too...Will you manage to put on the tracks with the side skirts installed?

Yes, how do you think I should do it? Spray the green and paintbrush the black or try masking using the space putty? And is there any particular green you suggest?

Turret, upper and lower hull are not assembled yet. I put them together for the photo.

I doubt it but will try

Re: Challenger 2 w/Bar Armour
1 i suggest you fix tracks to model before painting, very tricky to do it afterwards
2 british camo is soft edge so you might try black free hand by airbrush, keep the black(very very dark grey) thin
i would go for tamiya xf 56 for green

Re: Challenger 2 w/Bar Armour
Question... is the turret fixed in place, or it can be removed for painting it and under it?

the colours look spot on and the model is looking great tankred, i see you airbrushed the black, good decision, had these photos been taken some 20 years ago one would be forgiven for thinking that it is a 1/35 model. the detail in todays kits is way ahead.

The turret, upper and lower hull are still not fixed together.
All, thanks for looking, doing decals and varnish.

Re: Challenger 2 w/Bar Armour
very nice, had't you said it 1/72nd, I would have thought that it is a larger scale.
