Nice kit Gordon. Come on, finish it!!

p.s. - as for the A-10A being the best aircraft in the world, it certainly it is the best in its class of close air support. A-10A are being upgraded to A-10C standard, which are already in service.

Mean machine Gordon, I love it ... nice Gatling gun.

Though personal choice I am still in love with the 'old' dark scheme, looked more brute in it ... at least still nice to see the warhog tattoo ... come one build it up!

ok, Marco/Ivan the Dk green/green/grey scheme might look aggressive especially with the shark mouth, but even grey + sharkmouth still looks aggressive enough. Either way I would not want to be on the recieving end of that cannon. The other were just experimental schemes that were not adopted into service. An A-10 during the first gulf war would look nice too!!

I bet none of you actually saw one for real! Cool I saw 2 in RIAT 05. MASSIVE! on take off they sound like an airbus.

Those 2 mottled camos marco showed us would test your airbrushing skills. They almost looks like a kids art class had a go at them.

Joe during GW1 was it still dark green/grey scheme if I recall correctly? The grey ones showed up in action during the Balkans, Afghan and GW2?

Gordon, it's your model so it's your choice not ours, I just expressed my personal choice ... yet again it's the typical scheme we normally see in shows!

yes during gulf war 1 they were still in dk green/green/grey with black markings/stencils and some color in the form of sqn badges/insignia and others items such as sharkmouths. This scheme, Euro 1 was designed for european battlefields where the A-10 would have operated at very low altitudes and to try to make less visible when seen from above - by enemy fighters. After the gulf war in the early 1990s, the A-10 started to adopt the low viz greys to try to make them less visible when in the air. I am not 100% sure about the dates but the transition to low viz seems to have been completed around 1997, so during balkan operations during 1994/95 need confirmation about which scheme but it also seems that by 1993 they were still green. It looks that by kosovo in 1999 they all look grey. As for operations since 2000s including Afganistan and Iraq war they are obviously grey

Anyway Gordon, this is your model and you choose which scheme you want to do. If you are doing a late A-10A, just check that it has got all the bumps in the right places as it did acquire some during it's service.
