It's a beauty! prosit to both of you!

Big pity about the diorama matter. I'm sorry for you Ray! Relax and take it easy! Cool

Whatever you did.... you still did an exceptional job!

Those IPMS guys are still living in the stone age. What is a plane without a figure to give it life and dimension? This is so stupid. If you want just ignore the figure and assign points just to the plane but for God's sake, let a guy put in a figure (or more if he so wishes) near his aircraft. I knew about that rule but the last time i visited was in 2000, a full 13 years ago so they not have changed one thing in all this time from their mediocre rules.

So right Ray but the plane Joseph made is incomplete without the figure because the entire project was related to the photo of the real thing with Weymar standing on the wheel. If it were not for that, he might have chosen another scheme altogether. But as you say, life goes on and the plane on its own is still a masterpiece, if they do appreciate it. Time will tell!

The British are like that I'm afraid. Exactly the same things happen in the Fish and aquarium shows...they are killing the hobby by being so conservative and hard headed.

Whatever results from Telford, I AM PROUD & HUMBLE to announce that the CREATOR of my conversion pieces for Lt.Weymar, the Great Mike Good himself, (BoneHead on PF with the Nosferatu pic as his Avavtar) had quite liked cheers  my conversion & you can see his comment & that of ALL the others on PlanetFigure here.......

Well, whatever the result at the IPMS crapshoot, every modeller with some sense can realize that both Joe's LVG and your Weymar are sublime. But maybe I've been coming and going to these events more than most of you, I kinda grew a thicker skin. And as you say, take it with a pinch of salt and move. Hopefully justice will be done.....if there's any of that left !!!!!
