Don't know but if this was not specified in the rules, couldn't you guys have aired your views? Or have you done already as I recall you Alex and you Ivan saying somewhere that you had a sort of battibek with these DORKS

That section is meant for scratch and conversion, last year judges decided that the top merits have to go to the scratch only models, which on that table there was only 1 and guess he got the gold [totally merited], on another note those models without fotos and updated with aftermarket material were penalised or left out simply because the judges were not aware if they used aftermarket conversions or scratch [Alex was one of them to be ignored]. The worst a Belgian top guy who got BOS in Antwerp with his scratch managed briefly to get a Bronze [I think], and the penalty was he used resin tyres!

On a side line the judges wrote on missing links that converted stock probably might make it not more than Bronze, only scratchbuilt take the top medals, so why bother putting conversion in this section I asked, still they reply that they pretend that the modeller has to scratch and not use aftermarket updates and material ... sounds strange as in figures conversions and scratch are put a parimeto in the same category being totally sculpted or using aftermarket goods ...

Puzzled? I am to be quite honest !!!!!

sorry but as yet there is no model kit . this is a scratchbuilt model full building blog on link above.

Alex I've just spent over an hour drooling over the SBS on Tanks and Things......even though sometimes I saw it at club, the sequence of massed pics makes it even more interesting!!!

You've recieved a lot of comments and praise over there, all justified and well earned, but the most that struck me was "You've showed that you're a modeller not just a kit builder, and you come from the old school of modelling"........that is a statement worth gold IMHO, but having said that, I still would love to see you win that overdue gold at Euro!!!!
