Started Works on the hull and decks of the ship...The mating iof the hull wasn't that easy...they were really warped.
Here's some pics of the stern of the ship with the port sponson taken off and altered completely

The Bow of the ship was completely rebuilt using 20 thou plastic sheeting

Loads of more work to be done starting now on the catwalks which have to be completely rebuilt with photo etch bulewarks and plastic card decking....quite tricky...but enjoying it

I have now started works on the island ....the rear end of the island superstructure was sawn off and rebuilt from scratch...Main mast island altered completely ....both stern and bow sections of the island alted to accomodate new radar bulbous housing...scratchbuilt as well ...Bridge also altered.....all piping and trunking scratchbuilt from copper wire and thin lead soldering wire....much more work to be done...this one is going to take some time and don't think will get it ready for the exhibition
