Ray, that is truly amazing detail work. the badge is really lovely and completes the cap. What a fabulous figure you are making.

Permit me to compliment you on a great idea and what promises to be another masterpiece Raimondo caro!
Tried to take a close look at the model yesterday at the club but other eager hands did not permit this and besides, I always forget my glasses so no use looking from far...
Incredible how nobody thought of doing a local bobby before. Just love your attention to detail and wish I had the same dedication. Look forward to more updates.

Re: Malta Police Sergeant :)
@ Ivan.....I can assure you I have enough material mate
@ Brian....thanks again for your feedback yes the cap's badge turned out just right, even if an odd 1mm+ bigger than the actual size & just to announce, I've just replaced the flag/sheild in the middle of the ring again we're CRAZY I know but since "taghtni f's*%#i" it only took a couple of minutes
@ Aldo.....caro Pupu I also appreciate your feedback & next time you come to club you must remember to bring your specs
At first I was going for the "redeemable shortcuts" like I did on the other mates' farewll presents, but apart that this ex Sarge stands tall & above on everyone else I've rubbed shoulders with on my line of duty (yeah I'm sounding like I packed the whole of Corradino's Jailhouse Rock with Osama's products) during my 25yrs as a boy in black & from all points of view including his defects which are not as GRAVE as MINE after all (no one's are as GRAVE as MINE for that matter), so I found out that I could not go for "those reedemable shortcuts" & now he's getting my FULL attention as I also plan to take him with me to Euro this September & make him stand one last tour of duty before I surrender him to his rightful owner

Re: Malta Police Sergeant :)
Also announcing that this dude will be SHELVED for THE TIME BEING
Time has caught up with me since the "conversion work" is far greater then I anticipated, and since "no shortcuts on this one, no matter what" I'll shelve him, so that I'll concentrate better on the three pieces I'll be taking to Euro

Alex you think that would be appropriate when I have used commercial parts ? I don't think so even though I really wish I could do it, honestly, as I'm sure it would paint well

Ray,
If you go commercial it is an issue but if you use it for future personal projects you are not ...

Good start mate ... I like the skintone, especially considering it's a 120mm no need to make dramatic contrasts ...
Noted also the pavement, you captured the 'old' Maltese style of coloured concrete bricks perfect!

Wayne, I can't believe I missed to show you the head (the figure's head ta ) last Wed, as it was in my carry case
I guess you came a bit later & I had already stowed it safely away from the pigs' table spluttering during dinner
Sorry but I thought you were there before & saw it already, so try to find a way to forgive me

No problem Ray. Guess it's my fault for coming late I'm sure I'll get to see it some time soon.
