Prosit Steve, bloody well done, what a great job, who is the lucky guy who is going to have that figure sitting on his mustang cockpit sill? I had painted one of those for a German friend of mine and he had entered both the plane and the figure in a competition (IPMT 2007 PMC Bodensee) I won first prize in the category for the figure and he sent me the trophy. That is a brilliant figure and very faithful to the original. Obviously, my effort does not even come close to yours.

That's a great looking and realistic looking pilot! I've seen pictures of that figure sitting on the side of an open cockpit of a Mustang and it looks great, just like the photo it replicates. Would make a nice little diorama even with just the cockpit of a Mustang.

P.S - why not build the whole aircraft, though I think it would deviate attention from the figure. Maybe just the P-51 mid-section??
