    Hey guys,

As you know, besides being a wing nut I'm also into Warhammer 40K and sci-fi in general. While clearing out some stuff in the garage I came across some home made board pieces for a another Games Workshop game called Space Hulk. It's basically a battle set in an abandoned space craft... think of the "Alien" films and you'll get the idea.

Anyway, back to the point of this post. I always wanted to create some detailed terrain that would better depict the atmosphere while playing the game. After rummaging about the net I found this site which produces molds for creating fantasy and sci-fi settings.

The things are a bit pricey but you can create some fantastic pieces in a relatively short time. Scratch building every board game piece might produce better results but would also take forever.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with you. Any thoughts Alex (Gimli)

I know these well, i have some moulds for the castle. the reason they are expensive is that tey are made of rtv rubber which can take polyester and polyeurethane resins as well as all other casting materials and the end results at least on mine are very nice
