Re: Iran's new stealth fighter!
There is something strange with this one and I really have my doubts about it. It looks more like a mock up than a real one. The cockpit looks quite simple for an advanced aircraft, no locking mechanisms on the canopy, pilot barely fitting in the cockpit and ejection seat. The intakes look a bit small for a jet engine and why show an aircraft with intake/exhaust plugged? What about armament/fuel, is there enough space to carry weapons like AAMs?? A stealth aicraft used as defensive weapon only - come on, just have a look a stealth aircraft in service and development and they are anything else than defensive and deterrent weapon only!!

Many got the same impression as you claimed Joseph, apart I have my doubt if this shall survive any combat, on the other hand it worries if Iran have the capabilities to start designing stealth models ... capable fighters or not!

Re: Iran's new stealth fighter!
The main stealth technology used in the Iranian fighter seems to be that of having a multifaceted design (like the F-117) which by todays aircraft stealth and low observable technology one can say it is old. Just a simple example, compare the F-117 to the B-2 and one sees an immediate difference. This does not mean that this aircraft might not have stealth capability or characteristics at all but stealth technology is not just simply in the shape and size, it is much more than that!
