Re: Mclaren Mercedes mp4-25 Revell
robert goodluck with this model. If I were you I would check the exact ratios as revell f1 cars are not ideal for this section.

Re: Mclaren Mercedes mp4-25 Revell
Prosit Robert, nice start. From my experience with the Revell F1 kits they have evidenced a drastic improvement lately. Also the engine usually is enclosed within and cannot be seen given that the engine cowl is usually fixed on these kits. Did you consider to separate the engine from the gearbox and display alongside the model? Also I believe that you will be going the Alclad Chrome road for finish - if you are considering to clearcoat after decal application then the Alcald aqua gloss is the best as this does not diminish the chrome sheen. If you require anything pls do contact me. C U

Thanks Alan.
I will leave the engine in and most prob i will leave the cover open still have to decide..yes Alclad will be used too, regard the aqua gloss im not convinced enough about the final result but defiantly will try all options...

Very interesting, how did you do that, it looks really nice. Did you spray over netting?

Prosit Robert, very clean work As to the steering wheel this was covered in cf except for the grips, which were grey. Moreover they were made out of leather, hence if you want this effect you may use flocking. If you need will clarify this technique next Wed. Prosit mate, n C U.

Awesome work...
Lovely paint job Rob. Next time try using lead foil or tamiya masking tape for the seat belts I think the surface texture is better in my opinion. (Unless thats the way they are in reality).
Have to try this Alclad one day. I dont think it ships to Malta eh?
