1913...A Vintage Racing Car in 1/48 scale.

Hi again...

Here a little car, born in my dreams of course!!! It does not exist! Build from spares excusively (90%) and all the rest had to made from scratch!!! Lots of Fun indeed!

SO...

Here is my idea on paper.

The first steps ...before disaster!!!









The first colors on... Alclad chrome first, then 4-5 lights coats of clear red.




Then...my fingerprint was enough to send it directly to the Mars... 

Once again...








Finally...I managed to finish it. A little led is connected with a small switch into the engine. I decided to spray it with a satin varnish than a gloss one. I wanted a vintage look.

Fantastic Alex, a truly fantastic model and well finished, i really like it.

Beware Alex........ they going to use it for the next fantasy film....fantastic idea welldone..

It was a very Funny build, and the most important thing to me was that everybody can build unbelievable models, using his useless spare parts!!!

You DO have a soft spot for cars Alex and the vintage type. I still remember one of the very first of your models which i saw was the rolls royce.
