I've started this build during our last expo, but never got round to documenting it.
This aircraft was the last Hurricane to come off the production line and never saw active service. It was initially used by Hawker for various tests an was then donated to the RAF. The aircraft still flies today as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
My model represents this aircraft as it was during the 1950 King's Cup Air Race. Although it is usually represented in a much lighter blue, there is proof that the aircraft was in fact painted in the darker Oxford Blue and I have gone for that shade:
