Airfix Hurricane MkI 1/72

Hi guys!
long time no seen, huh! Well I'm still alive and kicking.

Anyway I'm about to spray the Hurricane and the color plate shows the underside as half black and half white of the 85 Sqn.

I don't particularly like the black and white underside so the question is can I just paint it with the usual duck egg color?

It depends the era and date ...if were B&W heq they should be ..
