Finally with a slightly cooler weather energy levels are being replenished sufficient enough to drive this build to a finish. Been toiling over it, on and off (more off) for 18 months.
Kit is from Tamiya, decals from Hobby Design (courtesy of Manuel Zammit), photo etch fret from Studio 27 plus lots more of other etch bits.
Anyhow works completed so far:

Spray ready for first clear coat

This was followed by carbon fiber decals, where I had to created all templates. Laborious yet a very satisfying outcome.
Cockpit area:
Extensive rework of the interior, with details including seat flocking and seat belts, electronic boxes scratch building, and wiring, extinguisher wiring, and the creation of the flip switch panel having at least 20 labelled flip switches in 1/24 scale. Yes many outside our hobby may call us crazy but these details are our pride, and YES we modelers strive to build exact replicas.
