Is there a problem with the front wheel alignment? They look off in the first pic.

Re: Hellers 1/8 Citroen Traction Avant
Hi all well this will be my last post on this one till at least next friday as off for the funeral in Scotland tomorrow.
I broke and lost part of the steering last night so had to make a new bit
gave the bottom another coat of muck and added a bit of grease
also (although my art days are way behind me nowadays)(and I never could do portraits)this is supposed to be Rene from Allo Allo, he will be behind a dirty window in the dio so I may get away with it, if not there's always plan B.

Re: Hellers 1/8 Citroen Traction Avant
Hi all well back tonight, and this was waiting for me.
I think it looks cool on the rear seat(tried the boot but its too big)
just have to find out which Machine gun it is and how it looked after a bit of battering,

Re: Hellers 1/8 Citroen Traction Avant
Looks great on the rear seat and the gun itself is really nicely detailed......however you have to bear in mind that it is pretty heavy and will sink somewhat into the seat. you can't have it perched on the seat without even having a small depression in the seat. Think about that and if it is possible to do it at this point in time.

Re: Hellers 1/8 Citroen Traction Avant
Hi all yet another update, YAWN, you must be getting bored I know I am
thanks for the info, not sure I can do much about the seat now but I could always put it on the floor (probably where it would have been anyway) (to visible on the seat)

Hi all. Finished the weathering on the side windows (I must say I'm quite pleased with it)also did the ammo box and made a start on the backdrop.

Re: Hellers 1/8 Citroen Traction Avant
that is totally cool work there, this is going to be a really nice dio. Do you plan on having a figure or two? that would really set the scene.

Re: Hellers 1/8 Citroen Traction Avant
It would but the only 1/8 figures I could find were 150-200 quid each and even then they were only female and in bikinis so no I won't.

Looking really good, that must be a huge dio there. What with the size of the car and the building. Love the way its turning out.
