That is going to be an arsenal of armour bravo ... but do all those fit in the dimension BA proposed for handlaguage?

The dio with the building needs to be disassembled IMO. Would not risk these beauties to get in the grimpse of the ugly hands that work in the hold!

I can only echo Ivan's and Doc's warning re carry case dimensions.........you either check with their (AFV guys at club, namely Ivan and Doc and Oliver) new look carry case, or else here is BA's dimensions, copied and pasted hereunder........better be safe Noel, as last minute hassels, especially coming back from Gatwick might be hazardous with the restrictions Airports and Airlines have nowadays.........hope I'm not sounding too panicky or know it all, just because I walk around MIA in my uniform pirat and protect all the lovely girls from terrorists Twisted Evil .........just trying to help out that's all Embarassed

Keep safe and you can come by once in a while to club and join in the adrenalin build up prior to this big event pale

    The standard-sized bag is no more than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22ins x 18ins x 10ins), including the handle, pockets and wheels.

The bag must be able to be:

fitted into the gauge available in the check-in area
lifted into the aircraft's overhead lockers unaided (although cabin crew will assist you if you have additional needs)

Yep Ray hit the nail, BA and Gatwick are very very strickt, so it is already a hussle seeing a big group with large wooden boxes roaming around the airport is enough ahseb u ara sizes being different. I also been told that there is also an allowance of just 10 kilos for hand lagguage, otherwise to the hold.

On another note Pier Olav Lund travels each year to Euro via Ryanair from Norway, his dioramas are always massive and always put his treasures in the hold, only that he pack the box with small pearlits of jablo ... but IMO very risky!

Personally I will stick to the dimensions available ... and try to fit the best you can, if the building can be dismantled for travelling that would be ideal ...

The models I'm talking up fit in the required dimensions..... don't worry! Very Happy I am even making it smaller by a couple of cm, in fact!

THe single tank display have to be secured to the base at the hotel cos I'll be carrying their bases in the luggage.

Gonna be tight fit in the box then Noel! the single AFV ideal to have a base and good idea to get them apart, that is what we did me and Dottore at WE, only that Dottore got a missing fender thanks to careless handling while being fotoshoot ... so how are you going to secure them with a screw in the middle or with just bluetack, be aware that models are handled during judging and avoid disappointments as it happened to Matthew!
