Her name is Kate Blanchett but i don't really like her much. there are much better looking women out there and i think that the film deserved better. Just my opinion so don;t hit back too hard!

Yes one and the same but in that film the face fit the part she played. Still, i don;t really like her. She also starred in Lord of the Rings, i don't remember which film of the three.

Apart he shot twice in Malta [whitesqual and gladiator] and if we weren't vain enough we would have also got Kingdom of Heaven but went to Marocco and Italy for something far less for what we asked to shoot the GrandHarbour
Pity the famous Arena was brought down though ... I had the cahnce to visit the set after the shooting and wsa a spectacle of modelmaking 1:1

I was working for John King, heading the Art Unit on location at Ricasoli and this guy and his staff were shit scared of RS. Apparently, he has quite a temper and if he is not satisfied with the work, the unit made up of around a dozen people would instantly find themselves out of a job. I found I had to join these very qualified people in kissing ass so that they could see their contract till the end.
Not an easy job as on the three occasions that Scott visited the studio he always had something negative to say, and my Mediterranean temperament did not help much!
...and may I say I am not particularly moved by the Princess either, although I agree with Ivan that her role in LotR was impeccable! And she also made a convincing QE1.

And as far as I know I told him "would have been better if you met the Princess as well"
So as far as I know, I was referring to the Princess in Gladiator, who is Connie Nielson......ok I may have mislead you because she is not a Princess per se, but what is the Emperor's daughter called?

All the scrolling up and down, sideways, diagonally and only god knows with what you will come out in with in the future must have caused some sort of short circuit
, cause when you mentioned the princess you were talking about Gladiator or Robin Hood 
but what Aldo mentioned was Robin Hood but referring to Gladiatior Straight in the wall(not my words) p.s. - ..........................but what is the Emperor's daughter called? - Imperator Filia
