I removed the masking tape from my canopy and voila! i have a few scratches, bumpy lines, thick paint on some parts and a horrible front canopy due to cutting on the canopy during masking session. What can i do to restore it? dip it in Klear?

I agree with Marco, try car polish, and if this fails try to dip in future. Be gentle when polishing cause you might get stress cracks in the clear plastic, and you might need to respray. Even if you go for the future option you have to try to smoothen up any edges and scratches.

I was thinking of vacform BUT if you vacform over a scratched and bumpy canopy wont the vanform mold pick up the imperfections aswell??

Re: Canopy disaster! :(
Adrian, i sense a lot of panic. Fear not, if the worst comes to the worst all you will need to do is respray the framing. use sanding and polishing sticks to remove any blemishes, scratches and bumps in the canopy. Polish it till it is the clearest you can get it. If you do not have polishing sticks use car polish as Marco told you but support wherever you are polishing to avoid breakage. When you are satisfied, dip it in future and let is stay for a couple of days then touch up the framing. If you have a problem still give it to me and i will try to fix it for you.
