To re-cap on the session we did at the club regarding airbrushing with Panzer grey, I have laid out some SBS for future easy reference.

Base coat. Straight from the bottle or mixed with another colour as to your preference

Pre-Shading. I usually use straight black

Highlights. Usually add white or you can control with other lighter colours

Base colour Over-Spray to soften the shadow and highlight contrast

You can start adding tone shades to localized areas for a more 3d effect

Noel/Oli, well done for a very informative lecture. Now I know what modulation is Smile a technique that I have been using for the past decade or more Smile Smile just an upgrade in name Smile but on AFVs you can take it several steps further.

It was good but i think that whoever works with Noel in a joint workshop should either bring a change of clothes or else wear a boiler suit which he does not mind getting paint on.

Joking apart, just a bit of constructive criticism. If whoever is doing the lecture/deonstration can sit in the centre of the room it would be better for everyone to see what is going on. Otherwise we shall have to queue up early for the best seats in the house. Thanks to Noel and Oliver. Great stuff guys!!

Thanks Noel and Oli, it sure was an interesting workshop.

I hope you can repeat it during HiS so that poor students like me and Luke will get another chance Sad
