We are in the process to commence a workshop regarding aviation modelling techniques. The general idea is that we start from the very basic elements, i.e. cutting the parts from the sprue etc. Thus all those interested are to choose an aircraft of their choice, for this workshop I have chosen the MIG15 in 1/32 scale by Trumpeter, and we will proceed with the construction of the kits, were I together with the other aircraft buffs will be mentoring all the participants. One may also prefer to include any aftermarket additions such as resin, white metal or photo etched parts. This workshop will eventually include also some basic weathering techniques for the cockpit, wheel well etc.
All participants are to provide the kit, basic tools, paint and all relevant information/scale plans on the subject.
Target date for commencement is Wed 28th April 2010 and will be repeated every fortnight.
Any queries and question are more than welcome.
Thanks,
