1/32nd Me109 G4
This was my first Me109 in 1/32nd scale (Revell/Hasegawa). the changes done to the model were the MDC Spinner, True Detail wheels and Quick Boost exhausts pipes. I used the kit's decals.

noooooooo it does not have the correct spinner because from the time that i built this 109, MDC have recorrected their spinner... so i think that there was something wrong in the shape.... yuppppp

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE FOUND SO FAR ON THIS TOPIC MARCO....

Messerschmitt Bf 109 1/32 Scale Spinner
Eagle Parts
S u m m a r y
Catalogue Number: 2032
Scale: 1/32
Contents and Media: 2 parts in grey resin.
Price: USD$8.00 from Eagle Editions website
Review Type: First Look
Advantages: Accurate dimensions and shape; simple construction; clever use of jig to overcome casting limitations; excellent crisp casting; attention to detail; will make a noticeable improvement to the Hasegawa 1/32 scale Bf 109G-6
Disadvantages:
Recommendation: Recommended
FirstLook
This 1/32 scale replacement spinner has been designed for Hasegawa's new Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 by master pattern maker Gregg Cooper of ScaleQuest.
This is an accurate new spinner based on photographs and measurements:
The taper is corrected with a slight indentation where the front portion of the spinner is attached to the rear portion.
The blast tube has been enlarged and emphasised with a flared spinner opening (the blast tube can be shortened to match photo source of desired aircraft subject).
The openings for propeller blades are tapered to the rear.
A raised data plate for the spinner and backing plate with attachment hole has been added.
The forward spinner cap line is also more pronounced.
A drill jig is included to align the propeller shaft opening in the backing plate. A data plate decal is supplied with all EagleCals for Bf 109s in 1/32 scale
This is a simple but quite noticeable improvement over the Hasegawa kit part. The clever casting of the spinner, the backplate and the hub makes this a very straightforward project.
Recommended.

Re: 1/32nd Me109 G4
well im still not convinced yet!! there was some good reviews on both spinners. follow the links below. but the is somthing strange.... why MDC deteted their spinner???!!!!. follow the third link. the MDC spinner is/was CV32014 and in their list it states simply DELEATED. if it was that good and i think that it is the most wanted item to me a very good 109 in 1/32nd scale, i don't think the they would deleated their product! all the other 109 upgrading items are still available. and the argument goes on..............

Re: 1/32nd Me109 G4
I'm sorry Chris for all this ,your 109's all of them looks like 109's .....but your are trying to convince me something that is wrong ..so I cannot stay silent...
Now the matter that MDC removed CV32014 from the cat..just to add the stencil decal and gave it a new cat No CV32029 ....
But business is business , the man who cast for MDC split with MDC and went with somebody else ..so it's not a matter that the spinner is wrong ..it's just a matter of trade.....

MDC or EAGLE PARTS Me109 spinner

I would like to know which of these 1/32nd Me109 spinner has the correct shape. Both are good spinners (much better than the Hasegawa's offering in their kits) but i think that one of them is still slightly wrong in shape. I have both spinners and they look different. So which one will be? MDC or Eagle Parts?
