    Heys guys,

The Doc just left my house after about 30 mins contemplating on which figs to choose and FINALLY we have decided to do:

1 figure standing holding a bottle of champagne and in his head a santa's cap(N.B. these have are not shown in the picture...)
2 half/figures in the turrets with a bottle of champagne and 2 cups (1 cup in front of each figure again not shown still have to be added) talking to each other looking at the snow on thje turret's tank and saying ''THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A WHITE XMAS''

    how about that??

Qed naraw kbir lool ima meta tara il wicc helu tad Doc quddiemek jejdlek ''uwejja mux qisek andek 2 figures u fadal 4 gimghat'' ma tistax ma tejdlux iva looool...

    DOCCCCCCCCCC tinsiex tipinja it turret.....

Next Wednesday hopefully will have sculpted the santa's cap SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

please any thing you find needs to be arranged please point it out SmileSmile

    on to the pics...

Brilliant idea, the figures look really nice. The Santa's cap will be a nice touch.

Brilliant idea and figures have a very good pose, but IMO you should include a part of the tank's main body for that perfect pyramid set up Twisted Evil Twisted Evil, xejn xejn id-doc ikollu aktar xoghol, x'tahseb Sam Smile

Not to be a nit picker guys but you now how am I ... ma ndumx nomoda!

You acheived a good start but the story plot IMO you still need to work out. So let us start, Champagne and Christmas I would not see any combination, logically Champagne is associated with New Year, kemm jien nitpicker.

Then Champagne in Belgium, is another no go IMO, we are not in France and these bottles were not a common trophy as we like to imagine. If not mistaken for Belgium it is more Schnaps but that is another issue. Personally I would work out a different plot [imma this is my idea and Dottore would not really like it as he is conservative ].

I would make a small ironic idea of the crew men playing with a little snow that gettered on the turret and managed to sculpt a small snow man. Personally I would keep the turret OD or heavily chipped whitewash, so the concentration falls on the centre white snowman. You will achieve a double pyramid effect [again I have copyright on this] with a focus on the centre ... and the name would stand more.

Last and essential, the standing crewman is not dressed well for winter, so the others haevily dressed and shivering????? So concentrate more to dress him up, let us say a heavy scarf, like the one Sammy likes to wear and keep him only with a Santas hat, so you acheive the double focus. Sammy when painting see that all the crew have something in red to add harmony ... good luck mates, you have a hitter here!

Imma ghadkhom lura fuq story telling ta'... konu aventuruzi u mhux stereo type!!!!!!

Embarassed not too keen on the snowman theme and were running out of time for too complex modifictaions and plots...

How about a new years drink on the tank turret Vanni/guys?

Adding part of the hull would make the job much more laborious...there would be hatches to detail and more for painting and chipping...

Just my thoughts...hope to bring constructed turret with me Wed...

    Dottore

A snow man shall take 15mins the max. to make Shocked

In vignettes there are no short cuts, can't beleive you spend 16hrs doing a simple MG and you would rush planning on a vignette.

I would like to tell you the feedback I took while judging dios at Euro, as soon as the top brass judges see use of commercial material that is stereo type and no input by teh modeller apart good construction and paintwork ... they get overlooked. You might tell me but am I doing something to plaese the judge, I would say NO, but I think both of you are capable to go that additional step to make YOUR vignette not a commercial one both from the shelves ... so think about it, and though it might look laborous these cosmetic conversions will personalise the work and are simple so just a couple of days work and you start painting ... by the way you are just doing a turret, so why hassle pale

Add colour Sammy but pay attention to keep the red striking, so the impact shall fall on the red and the white of the snow.

The shovel, is a simple addition so that you might manage something straight forward with the fig as it is, so up to you guys ...
