I know in principle its a shade but the colour does exist in practice. So what is soot? very dark blue?

Don't intend to start a debate...so i'll stop here.... tongue

    Dottore

    so will i after this
as for going to a paint shop, try asking him for rlm 7010 and he will certainly look bemused.my point which you seem not to have understood is
to get a "black" colour you need a dark blue. now what do you get if you mix any sort of blue with any sort of yellow. a penny to whoever gets this right

The devil is in the details....

Post  Dottore on Sat Jun 05, 2010 2:17 pm

Added the 50 rivets on each of the Cromwell and Centaur turrets....Rear fenders thinned to sclae thickness...hatches have their handles in wire and glued in place... Twisted Evil

Replaced the many grab handles with small wire handles...

Many plastic items I again felt the need to replace....the small headlamp will have wiring leaving the connecting piece...

Stiff vinyl tracks will be replaced by Friuls....

    Centaur....

Plastic stowage boxes will be replaced by more etch ones...here still waiting to be bent and hinged.... What a Face

Hoping to get contruction finished soon as time is pressinggggggggggggg!

Nice progress mate, I have seen those little hinges 1:1 and can state that you need to share room with your cousin, yes at the mad house clown

Come on put some time into it mate and start splashing colour ... I still contemplate when you dare build a Tiger, surely you'll need a year leave ...

Brilliant work Dottore, lovely detailing BUT STOP biting your nails, they are utterly DISGUSTING! If you insist on biting them find someone else to hold the parts for your whilst you photograph them.

Must have missed this one, nice work dottore.

p.s. - I agree with brian, stop biting your nails, or when you are taking the pictures have a nail treatment before such as acrylic nails (to stay in theme) What a Face Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Ultracast, Royal models and Legend Stowage
    Friul tracks
    Scratch plastic rivets and wiring
    Lionmarc British aerial
    RB Besa barrels (thanks Alex!)

    lovely work
    where is the bow m.g.
as for the spade i still would have preferred cleaning the kit part than the resin part you used. just nit picking in the hope of provoking a reaction

    Spade....

Post  Dottore on Mon Jul 26, 2010 11:15 pm

I will be using the British spades from Tamiya British Patrol plastic figure set...much better than this AA resin warped one!

Bow MG unit is left off to maybe make painting the barrel a tot easier for my poor brush skills!
