Vision models/Miniart Ba64-B. A tiny little armoured car which i VOWED to keep OOTB. Naturally as the build progressed I made some alterations...but I did resist getting resin wheels. It builds in a cute little model...and I have to say I enjoyed the fast build. Therapy from super detailed models!

I agree very cute model, I am tempted to fit an engine as they omitted it, the only downfall of this gem! But as usual I put asidethe project and elected as another shelf queen Crying or Very sad

Sometimes you need a quick OOTB or almost project to rest from the worries of a super detailed project...

BA64-B Miniart ...first paint... Empty Construction is now complete!

Post  Dottore Mon Mar 28, 2011 9:03 pm

Only some minor weld marks to add at some small attachment points. Was meant to be a quick OOTB project. In the end I succumbed to detailing some parts mainly the spare wheel frame, the exhaust muffler and fitting, the flash light, the steering system and the many tool fittings. All parts were scratch built and I even resisted buying aftermarket resin wheels LOL. The finished model will feature some tarps on the spare wheel frame and one covering the open turret. It will be given a worn white wash look....

paint will arrive soon I hope...as soon as I correct the handle and add some weld marks.
Alex MG is not fixed...unbelievable was going to PM you to see if you knew a source for a good resin MG LOL. Its one of the reasons why I'm going to add a tarp to the turret top...the other being the spartan interiors....
