totally amazing Lou, what sticks out the most is the water effect you managed to create for the hovercraft, awesome and so realistic, it made such a difference. You are the BEST!! Tikber u ssir ahjar.

What a beautiful job on the ship, I have spent a lot of time on this thread studying the photos.

I sculpt the water using common kitchen paper towels soaked in a diluted mixture of PVA glue....lay it on and sculpt it with different chisel brushes....a fine coating of a creamy mixture of household plaster is then applied...it's then painted with common house hold paint...namely blue, green and black using a wet on wet application.....The spray surrounding the LCAC's was fashioned out from special cotton wool for aquarium filters....glad u like it...best regards....next projext HMS Warspite entering Malta's grand harbour in 1942...

That's a really cool way of doing the water, thanks much for the information! That's a lot like the way guys will lay the groundwork for the model railroad stuff, never thought of using it for water.
