There is photographic evidence that these were in splinter scheme and some with german marking looking to be painted over.

Joe from the photos they are early birds from luftwaffe to Italian hands , but the latter they look Italian green colour.....

and btw this is a photo shows the window , that I told you from pilot view...

Thanks for the pictures. From the information I have found so far it seems that most were finished in standard german splinter schemes including the D3. The only overall green stuka I have found till now is a D3 after italy switched sides. As for the pictures showing what looks like a single color it may be due to camera film and weathering of the paintwork. After all the stukas that were not shot down were worked to their airframe fatigue limit.
