    Thanks guys, glad you like it... I had some big shoes to fill but your feedback is encouraging and much appreciated. As Tancred said it's still a work in progress. In fact I have just sent an updated version to the committee this morning.

    We (the committee) collectively decided to go for a retro feel and I think we pulled it off.

    I would like to point one thing. In this poster there is missing the logo of IPMS Malta. The logo is a form of identification and words are not eye catchy. Please do consider that this is a marketing poster. Thus, it should transmit your message the easy way out with the least words.

    I like the poster per se ( assuming the logo and stuff is added as previously commented). My only qualms lie on the fact that our poster has had a similar format for years and people have come to associate it with OUR superior model skills. Dont forget there are another 2 clubs making exhibitions around the same time and I fear that people seeing this poster will dismiss it for being the exhibition of one of the lesser clubs...
    For example imagine if Vodafone or Go had to suddenly change their logos, even if just the colours...It would make a huge difference!
    Euromilitaire for example has had the same poster for years and years and is instantly recognisable as the euromilitaire poster.
    Just my opinion as I said I like the poster design...

    Re-seeing the poster design again I agree with El Manolo, above all there is also a mortal sin Wayne, discrimination in a way : ) where is the Figure and Fantasy Section? Beeing an Art Nuveau Style it really benefit to add figures in, especially something Victorian, Steam Punk or Romantic styled ...

    On another note what El Manolo said I agree do not circulate visuals on the net, I have seen it being 'liked' on FaceBook and that is bad, as it already is spreading and when it is updated people will get confused.

    On a different note I have already advised the committee members and yet no one apart Aldo replied re-dates, if these are approved by the Gov Cultural Department and Heritage Malta and the agreement/contract signed and approved ... if these are not yet finalised useless circulate a visual which can have dates changed ... will add more confusion.
    I know probably you were entusiasthic but remember there are other people involved besides SSM ...

    Sorry for being a pest ... but unfortunetly for the time being Malta is full of bureaucracy on these issues ...

    As we have said before, this was a very early prototype of the poster and has gone through many changes since then. It does feature figures and all the other bells and whistles you have all mentioned. So don't worry Cool

    Guys, this poster is a works in progress and is still not finished.

    Dottore qalbi, the public doesn't give a sh... whose exhibition it is - in fact I can assure you that most people think it is the same people having exhibitions all over the place. I keep getting congratulations from people here at University for our great exhibition and they mean AME's and the others' apart from ours. Now that's University people, so I will let you imagine what effect the poster has on the rest of our illuminated society.

    I think given the level of intelligence of the maltese public, the most important thing is not to have difficult words on the poster!

    ...this said, I believe the substance lies on the exhibition tables, you know, the message not the messenger...capish?

    It would be a great idea if we can offer our overseas members to click on a link where they can have a look at our exhibition. I am referring to 3d camera links (like google streets). It is just a suggestion which could be considered if the costs are not high.
