Thanks Guys i will try to bring it over next Wednesday. I hope to have some work done on the engine too. Time is flying now and i have so much more to do, i am already panicking!! Last Wed i was coming but then thought better to stay and do some more work. Everything is scratchbuilt and it takes time. Besides, nothing comes right first go so that also is a waste of time. Thanks again for your great comments. I look forward to them.

Here is the engine completed. As much as i would have liked to put in more detail, due to time constraints, i just stuck to what shows after it is fitted into the fuselage. Hope you enjoy the pics. I am very satisfied with the way it turned out. The grey plastic is the kit, all other materials and stuff are scratchbuilding. The first photos are of the engine outside the fuselage to show the detail i have added on.















The rest of the photos show the engine fitted into the fuselage. As you can see, most of the detail is lost except for that on the rear of the engine and of course on the part which remains outside the fuselage.

Wow! And how did you make the hexagon brass nut? It looks so good! It must be so tiny!

Brian, as you said..... you would like to put in more detail.... we all know what you mean because when you are on a roll and everything is fitting so well you get the urge to continue.... BUT, it's not worth to put in the time if most of the extra added detail will not be seen.

Prosit! The tubing and connections make it look as though the engine could actually start!

There were attacks with the Me163 ,but if I am correct they were solo...

Thanks my friend, but nothing compares to the minute detail you put in your ships. This is huge compared to what you manage.

Some more progress. The last area to be detailed, hopefully, the tail section. Here is the framework for this area. The tailwheel assembly and plumbing still to be made. All is scratchbuilt.

A masterpiece in the making - Herr Speer would have been proud.
Hats off to the master for going the hard way instead of going for the easy shake and build option: signs of passion for the hobby. In a way, its a pity that the paint work shall cover up this top notch craftsmanship.
