Re: Two Me 163 komets
There's along way to go Ray, it will be a long time before it is done. I might decide to bring it along as an interim in progress work but it is nowhere close to being done.

Both komets are great, the detail though in the electricity circuits and plumping are stunning!

Re: Two Me 163 komets
UPDATE: Just finished painting (and Constructing) a tool box for the mechanics working on the 163, what is a mechanic without a toolbox! Also a working desk with some new parts on it and of course some tools and also a home made tool rack just to keep things tidy. One needs a tidy and organized workshop! Hope you like them. the toolbox is photoetched from ABER, the desk is resin from Verlinden and the rack is a mix of stuff from Cauchi with aber tools and nails bought locally as are the granpuni.

Re: Two Me 163 komets
The detail is really great on this, I know you're having a lot of fun with this and this will end up being in John Reid territory. Just a couple comments, the top of the desk looks a little too neat, seems like it would be a lot more stained? Are you going to have any plug wires going to the outlets? The mechanics might also like a coffee pot as well

Re: Two Me 163 komets
Glad you like it guys,
Brad i might just add some more dirt but i don;t want to overdo it. There are many scratches, chips off the edge of the desk and even stains but many of them have now been covered by the stuff on the surface. As for the coffee mugs, there are other surfaces to be included and i did not want them on this particular one. The pillar drill on the desk is in fact plugged into the wall, i don't know if the plug shows in any of the photos.

Re: Two Me 163 komets
This is the spares cabinet. It is totally scratchbuilt, the cupboard itself from plastic card, the doors and hinges from sheet aluminium. The boxes of spares are bits of plastic and resin covered in brown paper and given a wash. they were covered in the same way a cardboard box is made. I hope you like it. Box on top is from a tamiya set, plastic of course.
