Thanks Alex, this is such fun, you should all try to have a go at a diorama. I won't be doing any more of this size, it is taking forever but it is extreme fun to put in all the details. Keep looking there is much more to come.

Super fantastic habib. with the right lights and a professional camera, one would not note the difference between model and reality.

Another update. here is the group of people which are the focus of the theme. There are two guys spraying the plane, well one is just looking on. The CO of EKG16, Wolfgang Spate is looking impatiently at his watch, he wants to see the respray well under way before he goes to the meeting with the guys from the factory who visit regularly to get evaluation feedback. These men in civvies were a familiar sight at their base. The two men are looking on the proceedings. This is the first time i have ever modified a figure's uniform and Spate's uniform especially the trousers is heavily done up with milliput since he was originally a tank commander. The battered compressor is trying hard to keep up with the demand of spraying an entire plane. Spraygun also mostly scratchbuilt. Hope you like it. I still need to apply a light coat of matt varnish to the figures, they still shine a bit.

Hi guys here is an update. I added a portable steps the type of which was extensively used by the Luftwaffe in workshops and factories. Also some more figures. there is a guy near the spares cupboard of course he is following the goings on in the central spray area and also two more ground personnel pushing the portable steps into place so that the red plane's tail can be sprayed. The steps are completely scratchbuilt.

Another update, here is the milling machine. Another piece from the Verlinden set. Of course the tools and stuff in the cupboard and the electrical connection are all additions.

Ray and Ivan you are so right i have been trying to make some convincing irbaba but could not get the right effect. If you have any ideas i can try out please tell me i would really like to have some lying about, even on the floor near the lathe. it would look much better. thanks for your comments.
