Put the vessel on hold at the moment . Here's the backdrop ready ...step by step from start to finish.....Expanded Polysytrene was used as a base ....paper mache using kitchen tissue and diluted PVA glue....then some dust and grit from underneath the pavement 
.....and the chalets and chapel were scratchbuilt....the trees I got from an online wargaming shop giving them also a wash with burnt umber oils.

Louis your work is unbelievable, veru l-alla tal-mudelli, sewwa nghidlek. You are the man. Those lifeboats are awesome, magnificent, complete with the coiled rope, they look so beautiful and the wood effect you have on them is out of this world, you always excell with every model you build.
