Airfix 1/72 Lightning F2A

This is one of the very good releases by Airfix. I was truly surprised how much standards have improved at Airfix, with delicate details and panel lines. A good level of detail, given the scale, and a fair representation of the real thing.

I completed this model a short while ago, and it was the first one after a very long absence. First I got the colour wrong then I had some issues with the silver around the cowling, but all in all I enjoyed the build and am happy with the end result.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Was thinking of coming over to the club today, but got home from work completely knackered. Still plan to come over in the near future, although its been so long since I have last seen you all, that I am a bit hesitant.
