Nice work, is the new nose part resin and I think that you have to remove the plastic kit part? Have you already dry fitted everything?
Interior very nice, prosit.

Re: Lightning T-4
As you wish brian, but really there ain't any secrets, just good paint dilution, which for I have not standard, just dilute + spray and adjusting according to my like. Added to that I do a lot of fine sanding thus reducing not elimating completely any nics such as dust. hair etcc.. in between spray painting layers.

the nose part is all resin, including the wheel well/nose cone. It is from CMK. I have yet to cut the fuselage, and I think it will not be that straight foward. Will post more pics when more progres is made.. Thanks.

Re: Lightning T-4
have done some trials with this alcad and I can say that I like it. It needs a good clean gloss base, such as gloss black, it is resistant to masking but it still needs to be sealed for protection. It dries fairly quick and is not acrylic.

Re: Lightning T-4
For the bare metal areas I'm using testors metalizers range. Is alclad better?

Re: Lightning T-4
I have just one Testors metalizer, and again... never used it :/
I have been told and also read, it is very weak and sensitive to touch! you must seal it immediately and is very weak to masking.
Alclad it seems is the total opposite...

Re: Lightning T-4
Yes it's very sensitive to touch but after you seal it it's ok. They also respond well to polishing.
