    When I putty a model I lay down a piece of masking tape on my working surface and put the putty on that...

    That way when I am done using the putty I just pull up the tape, ball it up and toss, quick clean up

    Very good tip, may I ask what kind of masking tape is that, is it like Tamiya or like the one used inthe car industry?

    It is 3M painter's masking tape. It is a little less tacky than original masking tape so it peels up very easily when used for masking as well.

    Great tip, you can at least iminimize the clean up area and also avoid ruining surface detail. Thanks for sharing.
