    Hi Guys

Just a little thing that may put Ray mind at ease, this is a little flight project that I am working on. Apparently Voss was pretty much a speed freak and enjoyed not only flying like a madman, but riding motorbikes as well. So my little piece is called “Low Flying” and concerns a piece of motorcycle and flying history, all in one photograph, I am scratch building a 1914 German Wanderer motorcycle that Voss rode around the camp. what you see below is the first incarnation with too much of the bike cut off I have now reattached the rear part back to the rear of the petrol tank and will be constructing the engine as well.....

let me know what you think

    Dave,

Nice one, when I first saw that photo of Voss with his bike, an idea cropped up to include the bike with the DIII but when I saw the work it involved I had to do otherwise Very Happy

I think you have good plans to work on, very nice spoked wheels. As Alex said it would be good to share the process you used.

    Hi Guys

What is in the images below is the result of two solid days scratch building with a couple of days more to do of detailing before painting. I will be stopping at the place you see now, as I am running out of time before the MFCA, as I have few other project to get done. I will get round to doing a SBS of the wheel at a slightly later date.

Dave, a real pity about the sawn off bike, but if you are running out of time, that would have to SADLY suffice Sad

Ah saw Billy Bishop before I saw this so my bed has to wait for this reply as well Twisted Evil

Great job by all means and again I have to repeat re WHAT a PITY that sawn off bike Sad but there's no use crying over spilled milk I guess Sad but still, seeing the sublime work both construction wise and painting wise to the HIGHEST DEGREE as is expected from you that you pulled on this gem, I keep dreaming of the FULL bike Sad

The small twist to Werner's head gave him a whole new dimension as if saying to the skies "I can STILL fly on the ground Twisted Evil "

    Cheers mate Cool
