The insurgents who came from all walks of life together with the police, army and joined by the ROA [ Russian soldiers who were under the German army] started their battle to liberation ...
As a diorama, it is an experiment that I had always wanted to tackle. A small base area with a number of figures + action, apart splitting the base to create a two face perspective, a diorama and a vignette from the same project, but that will explain further ...
To divide the base I used a wall with a gate, replicating the real gate in Prague of a notorious concentration camp. A little artistic licensce was added to show it almost a derelict reflecting the crambling regime.
