Scratch building the gun-bay access panel:
The panel is made out of thin aluminium sheet - Big THANKS to Robert for supplying the raw material
Slaters plastic strips were used to create the frame, and aluminum was used for the triangular plates which was sanded down
The panel after light priming. I think the plates need to be sanded down further.

Some more progress on the main wheel well:
I damaged the plastic bracket of the second spring assembly while modifying it so I fabricated new ones.
Sidewalls have been added to the wheel well, these will make adding more detail easier later

You are fishing for compliments now. That is some very beautiful detailing Wayne, really nice and neat work, keep this up, what a great build. The best is yet to come if you decide to detail the engine and display it with the cover open.
